Steel Round Bar/Carbon Steel Round Rod

Carbon steel round bar refers to the solid steel with circular section which was known as solid steel round rod and solid steel round bar. The specifications are expressed in diameter, such as 50mm which means round steel with a diameter of 50 mm. According to the manufacturing process, round steel can be divided into three types: hot rolling, forging and cold drawing. The specification for hot rolled round steel rod is 5.5-250 mm which are often used as bolts and various parts, seamless steel tube billets. Round steel bar can be divided into low carbon steel round bar, medium carbon steel round bar and high carbon steel round bar according to chemical composition.
